In recent days, relentless military attacks have devastated civilian communities in northwest Syria. Homes, schools, hospitals, and busy markets have been reduced to rubble, forcing thousands to flee with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
At least 56 civilians have been killed and hundreds more injured, and displacement camps—already overcrowded and under-resourced—are pushed beyond their limits.
The White Helmets are on the front lines, pulling survivors from under the rubble, providing medical aid to the wounded, and helping terrified families escape to safety.
